The government should not push MQM's back against the wall, says opposition leader

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Opposition leader in the National Assembly (NA) Khurshid Shah on Wednesday has said that if the judicial commission proves rigging in the General Election 2013 then Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif would be bound to dissolve assembly.

He expressed these views while talking to the media in the NA.

He said that the ordinance regarding establishment of judicial commission would be issued for at least 120 days. The commission would itself form its Terms of Reference (ToRs). Shah said that the PM would have to dissolve the assembly if rigging is proved. He said that the members who did not use under the table means to get elected would also have to pay Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) price of foul practice to win elections.

He said that the government should not push Muttahdia Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) back against the wall. The opposition leader also said that the operation in Karachi is not being carried out on basis of anybody’s likes and dislikes.
