Arrow

CW, 8 ET/PT

Here's good news for fans of DC's Suicide Squad: It's back, with a new member in tow, Cupid (Amy Gumenick). That visit, however, turns out to be bad news for newlyweds Diggle and Lyla, as the Squad sweeps them away from their honeymoon and into a mission to rescue a kidnapped senator. While they're off squad-ing, Oliver is finding out about Ray's new Atom costume — and he's none too happy. Superheroes: They're so touchy.

Modern Family

ABC, 9 ET/PT

A bet with Jay forces Gloria to give up her telenovelas, leaving her craving over-the-top soaps and projecting soap drama onto her family's behavior. For loyal Modern viewers, the plot may recall the third-season episode that had Gloria interpreting in telenovela fashion for Cam and Mitchell as their adoption attempt failed. But character consistency is always going to lead to some plot repetition, and as long as Gloria's reaction to the situation rings true and stays funny, recall is alright.

Broadchurch

BBC America, 10 ET/PT

If you were a fan of Marvel'sAgent Carter and you haven't tuned into Broadchurch yet, you should just to see James D'Arcy, who played Jarvis on Carter and is almost unrecognizable here as the sexy, vaguely threatening Lee. It's just a reminder that actors often have more in them than typecasting allows us to see.
