Following death of an assistant manager from State Bank of Patiala's Rampura branch, police have registered an abetment to suicide case against two senior officers of the bank.

BATHINDA: Following death of an assistant manager from State Bank of Patiala's Rampura branch, police have registered an abetment to suicide case against two senior officers of the bank.
Assistant manager Sohan Lal, 27, had committed suicide on the night of March 22 by hanging himself from a fan at his rented accommodation. According to sources, he had posted a suicide note on Facebook blaming the two senior managers of harassing him.
Branch manager Rishi Pal informed the police about incident where he was found hanging from a ceiling fan.
Bathinda senior superintendent of police Inder Mohan Singh said, "We have registered a case for abetment to suicide against SBoP's deputy general manager Gokul Sharma and assistant general manager P C Singla on the complaint of Sohan Lal's father, Gurmel Singh."
