Leaders extend Ugadi greetings

Lieutenant Governor A.K. Singh and Chief Minister N. Rangasamy on Friday extended greetings to the people of the Union Territory on the eve of Telugu New Year Ugadi. Extending his greetings on the occasion, Mr. Singh said the dawn of Telugu New Year will usher in renewed hopes and aspirations in life. In his message, Chief Minister N. Rangasamy wished the people of Union Territory especially, the Telugu speaking region of Yanam (an enclave in Andhra Pradesh) peace, prosperity and growth. R. Radhakrishnan, MP, and leaders of various other political parties also extended their greetings.
