Three men stole an elderly woman’s Hovaround wheelchair as she was getting her hair done at a Bronx salon in January, cops said.
The 69-year-old woman had left her wheelchair in front of Sol Salon at 1246 Shakespeare Avenue on January 14, when police say three young men made off with it while she was inside.
Hovaround wheelchairs can be worth anywhere from $1500 to $8400, depending on the model and condition, police sources said.
No arrests have been made, but police released a photo of the three men with the Hovaround wheelchair on Wednesday in an effort to identify and arrest them.
