Alfreton moved five points clear of the relegation zone as Dartford remained in trouble in the bottom four.

The visitors came closest to breaking the deadlock in second-half injury time, when Danny Harris's shot was cleared off the line by Callum Howe.

Dartford goalkeeper Deren Ibrahim had made a superb save from Tom Shaw in the 83rd minute to keep the scores level.

In the first half, Harris had two chances for the visitors - firing wide and then being denied by Jason Mooney.
