Rupanagudi in Ballari is again the hottest in Karnataka at 41.7°C

MANGALURU: Rupanagudi hobli in Ballari taluk of Ballari district recorded maximum temperature of 41.7°C on March 22 at 6.30pm. Shantahalli hobli in Somwarpet taluk of Kodagu district recorded lowest minimum temperature of 15.9°C at 6.30am on March 23. More than 90% relative humidity has been recorded in 21.4% geographical area in the state. Less than 25% of relative humidity has been recorded in 88.4% geographical area in the state.

For 24-hours period ending 8.30am on March 23, four geographical regions received 0mm actual weighted average rainfall against normal weighted average rainfall of 0.2mm, a 100% deficit departure from the weighted-average normal.
