TEMPO.CO, Jakarta — Ferrari Indonesia says it eyes a 15-20 percent growth target this year, thus it will launch a new product in July 2015 and open up a pre-owned center dubbed Ferrari Approved to achieve it.
Ferarri Indonesia CEO Arie Christopher said the company saw a flat growth of 50-60 unit in 2014, yet stopped short of revealing its 2013 sales figure.
The new would-be launched model is the Ferrari 488 GTB—a next generation of the Ferrari 458. The numbers 458 in its moniker signifies the car’s engine shift system, while GTB stands for Gran Turismo Belinetta, referring to the historical roots of the Italian carmaker.
Ferrari Approved Jakarta is a hub for pre-owned Ferrari cars, which offers a string of Ferrari models—from the 360 Modena to the 458 Italia. Arie claimed Ferrari Approved offered used cars of higher quality than other sellers, thanks to multiple and meticulous inspections, developments, and direct certifications from their producer.
Arie said the new outlet would also serve guarantee extension and special financing, and was able to accommodate six cars.
“The arrival of Ferrari Jakarta pre-owned center aims at accommodating customers’ demand for quality, pre-owned Ferrari cars. We believe this showroom will fortify our business in Jakarta,” he said in Jakarta on Monday, March 23, 2015.
