Artist inscribes Saibaba book on rice grains

SHIRDI (Mah), Mar 20:
A 40-year-old artist, who has inscribed a book on Saibaba’s life on rice grains, presented his work to the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust here.
It has taken three years for Gajendra Vadhonkar, an Aurangabad-based artist, to copy the text of ‘Sai Lilamrut Granth’ (a 21-chapter book on the life of Saibaba written by Das Ganu Maharaj) with a micropen on 5,04,544 grains of rice.
“I was doing this work for past three years by working 12-13 hours daily. But, in the past seven months, I worked for 20-22 hours daily to complete the project,” said Vadhonkar who had earlier written the entire text of religious book ‘Sukhmani Sahib’ on rice, mustard and sesame seeds. (PTI)
