Andhra Pradesh Assembly was adjourned twice on Tuesday when the YSR Congress Party members insisted on a discussion on the proposed power charges hike. The party members gave an adjournment motion as soon as the House proceedings began.

Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao rejected the adjournment motion. Legislative Affairs Minister Y. Ramakrishnudu said that Government will make a statement on the issue after the question hour.

But the Opposition members didn't agree leading to adjournment of the House first at 9.30 a.m. and again at 10.10 a.m.
