The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has urged Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao to act tough on the YSR Congress legislators for not only resorting to ‘bullying tactics’, but also for their ‘unparliamentary behaviour’ in the floor of the House.

TDP senior leader and former Minister G. Muddukrishnama Naidu took exception to the recent acts of the YSRC MLAs and suggested them to ‘behave properly’.

“People are watching your (YSRC MLAs) irresponsible acts . Please desist from such acts,” he said.

Pointing out that the Speaker had the right to pull up the errant MLAs to maintain order, he requested Mr. Siva Prasada Rao to exercise his powers to ensure smooth conduct of the House proceedings.

Referring to the Pattiseema issue, he said the project was essential to quench the thirst of the parched Rayalaseema until Polavaram project became operational..
