Man held for stealing money from TTD hundi

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams’ (TTD) vigilance and security sleuths on Monday took into custody a person for trying to steal cash offerings being made by devotees from a mobile hundi inside the temple complex and recovered Rs. 17,300 from him. Based on a video footage, the vigilance sleuths detained the offender, identified as Sudhakar Naidu, at Padikavali inside the main temple complex.

He was handed over to the Tirumala Crime Police which after preliminary investigations confirmed that he was a history-sheeter.
