Anup Jalota and Pankaj Udhas get together for a music-filled evening

At an event hosted by China Gate, Anup Jalota and Pankaj Udhas, who've remained friends for decades, rendered the song Zindagi, which spells out the meaning of life in its truest form.
Anup Jalota says, "It was not pre-planned. We are the best of friends and have worked together earlier in the album Destiny, but not in a single song. We loved every moment of the singing and the video."

Udhas added, "This song marks that moment when we come together in the same number, and the philosophy of the song is like the essence of our friendship."
Among others present on the occasion were composer of the song Nikhil Kamath, lyricist Vimal Kashyap, hosts Krishna Tamang and Shriya Tamang, Talat Aziz, Mudasir Ali, Preety Bhalla, director Chandra Barot, Deepa Barot, Tori Datta Roy, Anee Chatterjee and Lalitya Munshaw.The celebs also enjoyed dancing to Mika's Dil Tasha Tasha, Asha Bhosle's Koi Karke Bahaana and the peppy Hum Bajaa Baja Denge among others over a sumptuous meal, which was followed up with an array of mouth-watering desserts.
