Police Find No Evidence to Back Rolling Stone Story on UVA Rape

Police said they were unable to corroborate any details of an explosive Rolling Stone article about an alleged gang rape at the University of Virginia and have suspended their investigation.

“We’re not able to confirm that an incident consistent with the details of the article took place,” Charlottesville Police Chief Timothy Longo said at a news conference on Monday.
