Lakshmi Manchu, cine actor and daughter of M. Mohan Babu was unanimously elected vice-president of Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA).
While actor and writer Tanikella Bharani was elected as MAA executive vice-president, Shivaji Raja was elected general secretary and comedian Ali as secretary. However, election will be held to choose president of the Association. Character artiste Rajendra Prasad and “Sahaja Nati” Jayasudha are competing for the post. The election will be held on March 29. Till date, Murali Mohan held the post of MAA president and is now backing Jayasudha. Mega family extended support to Rajendra Prasad. (NSS)
