Hectic arrangements are underway to organise Sitarama Tiru Kalyana Mahotsavam and Srirama Pattabhishekam on a grand scale at the historical Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy temple in Bhadrachalam on March 28 and 29 respectively.

The temple authorities have finalised an action plan to make elaborate arrangements for the Sri Ramanavami festival celebrations, which will witness the participation of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, on March 28. The plan envisages provision of all necessary amenities including drinking water, sanitation and first-aid facilities to the devotees besides illumination of the whole temple complex and beautification of the temple town. According to temple sources, the action plan entails an expenditure of Rs. 1.45 crore. The temple authorities have already initiated the process of preparation of adequate number of laddus to the tune of 3 lakh to meet the demand for prasadam. Similarly, adequate quantity of Mutyala Talambralu is also being readied for sale after the Sitarama Tiru Kalyana Mahotsavam on March 28. Arrangements are also afoot to install LCD screens, CCTV cameras, generators and other equipment at Midhila stadium.
