Fulham striker Cauley Woodrow has been called up to the England Under-21 squad as replacement for injured West Brom forward Saido Berahino.

Gareth Southgate's men play friendly matches in the Czech Republic on Friday and at home to Germany on Monday.

Middlesbrough's on-loan Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford, 21, and Bournemouth forward Callum Wilson, 23, have also withdrawn through injury.

Tottenham defender Eric Dier has been ruled out of Friday's match in Prague.

The 21-year-old suffered a black eye in Saturday's 4-3 win over Leicester and will not travel, although Spurs will assess the injury before England's game at Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium on Monday.

Southgate had already lost goalkeeper Jack Butland, 22, from his squad, after he was called-up to the senior side.

West Brom's Berahino, 21, was substituted late in their 3-0 defeat by Manchester City at Etihad Stadium on Saturday, after injuring his foot.

Woodrow, 20, was sent off for a handball in Fulham's 2-0 win at Huddersfield on Saturday, but after protests the referee changed his mind and sent off defender Shaun Hutchinson instead.
