Jabalpur: 90-yr-old, 5 of kin thrashed & robbed

BHOPAL: In a rerun in three days in city, six armed robbers barged into a house, this time near Surtalai area, thrashed a 90-year-old woman and four other members of a family before taking away cash and ornaments on Saturday night. Around 11 pm, robbers stormed into the house of Kallu Barman, and stayed there for four hours and carried with them Rs 20,000 in cash and jewellery, sources said.
All five family members sustained minor injuries.
Jabalpur SP HN Mishra said, "Role of Pardhi gang is suspected. Investigations are being carried out and we are hopeful of arresting accused soon."
