Two persons were arrested here in connection with the murder of Pattali Makkal Katchi State deputy secretary K.A. Murthy (40) near Sembanarkoil on Thursday. The accused were hiding in a house in Thengampudur near Nagercoil, for the last four months. Inquiry revealed that Karthikeyan (41) and Chezhian (44) of Sirkazhi were staying in the house. Already, eleven persons have been arrested in the murder case.
The duo had escaped immediately after the murder and were hiding here.
Handed over
They were handed over to a special team from Nagapattinam on Thursday, police sources here said.
