In a bizarre incident late on Saturday, three children were held captive by a family after their daughter had a small fight with them while playing.

A case was registered by the division number 7 police against accused Shankar, his wife and brother Mangal following the statement of Sunita Devi of Moti Nagar, Roshan’s mother.

The children told police that the accused tried to bite them, trim their hair and beat them with sticks till they fell unconscious.

ASI Manjit Singh said accused Shankar is absconding, but an FIR has been registered following the statement of the children and their parents.
