NOIDA: Around 500 students of the city's Government PG College and Kumari Mayawati Girls College (KMGC), Badalpur - both affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University - did not have admit cards when they sat for the annual exams that started on Friday as there were technical glitches while downloading it from the website.
The college managements, however, allowed them to appear for the exams to avert a protest.

According to Rajiv Kumar Gupta, associate professor in PG College, 300 students did not have the admit cards.
In KMGC, principal Jyotsna Garg said 200 students did not have the admit cards. "I tried to download the admit card a number of times, but failed. Heavy web traffic slowed the website," said BA student Puja Kumari.
CCS University officials admitted there were hiccups. "We are coordinating with officials of affiliated colleges. They have been told to allow students to appear for the exams if they have duly filled the application forms. The glitches will be removed soon," an official said. The annual examinations of all programmes will end on June 2.
