Grimsby moved up to third place in the Conference as they beat play-off rivals Eastleigh.
The Mariners' Ollie Palmer got his fifth goal in seven games as he turned in Nathan Arnold's cross early on.
Top-scorer Lenell John-Lewis wrapped up the points as he reacted quickest after Palmer's cross was spilled by Eastleigh goalkeeper Ross Flitney.
Eastleigh's Deon Burton was sent off late on before Jamie Turley headed in a late consolation for the Spitfires.
Grimsby have taken 16 points from their last six games and have won eight of their last 11 league matches.
Eastleigh remain two points outside the final play-off place, but have a game in hand on the side immediately above them, Forest Green.
