Cops nab 2 accused in Murataza Khan murder case

Naini police claimed to have worked out Murataza Khan murder case by arresting two accused including a woman while three of their accomplices are still absconding. The body of the victim was found in Charwa area in Kaushambi on March 3.

Naini police claimed to have worked out Murataza Khan murder case by arresting two accused including a woman while three of their accomplices are still absconding. The body of the victim was found in Charwa area in Kaushambi on March 3.
Police said Khan was in contact with a woman, Jyoti Pandey alias Puja alias Khushi, who used to live with accused Mansur in Varanasi.
They planned to kill Khan to come out of their financial crisis.
As per the plan, on March 2, Jyoti called Murtaza near Royal Palace at Subedraganj. Mansur and his accomplices Irfan, Shad Khan alias Chikki and Irfan, all residents of Rajruppur abducted Murataz on gun point and killed him by hitting him with stones on his head.
They later dumped Murtaza’s body in the fields at Charwa in Kaushambi district and tried to torch the car in Beli area. After thorough investigations and a tip off, the intelligence wing in-charge Sanjay Singh and his team nabbed the accused near Naini Railway station.
