Tale with a twist: Sheikh Chilli speaks Indori lingo

INDORE: Based on childhood tales of Sheikh Chilli, Sabrang Theatre Group staged two shows of a play at Pritamlal Dua auditorium on Friday. Full of comic situations that arise in the life of a simpleton Sheikh Chilli, the play gave the message that every person has a heart and dreams. The play was directed by Pranjal Shrotriya and evoked mixed response from the audience.
DAVV student Dheeraj Singh said, ”The play was a compilation of many stories.While some were humorous, others lacked punches. Also the character of Sheikh Chilli was played by two different actors, which spoiled the show.”
