Fujairah hotelier pushes 'Seven Emirates One Destination' plan

Karim Zaki, General Manager of Novotel, Ibis and Adagio hotels in Fujairah has called urged for the need to activate and adopt the logo ‘Seven Emirates One Destination’ to support tourism in the UAE.
 
He added that this can be carried out with a full comprehensive tour guide for tourists, where s/he can select a proper programme and visit all the emirates.
 
Zaki spoke to Emirates 24|7 on the sidelines of a recent first anniversary of one of the hotels he manages.
 
Zaki stressed that the inauguration of hotels is in line with the economic and urban renaissance taking place in Fujairah.
 
Statistics of the Fujairah Tourism & Antiquities Authority (FTAA) disclose that Fujairah has18 hotels with 2,671 hotel rooms.
 
The emirate is going to witness, within the next two years , the opening of three new hotels - Millennium, Vermont and Marriott.
Saeed Al Samahi, General Manager of the FTAA, predicted that the number of hotel rooms will be close to 5,000 rooms over the next three years.
