D K Ravi's death case to CBI till Saturday. "KPCC chief has the inherent power to hold executive committee meeting. Party chief Sonia Gandhi has already directed Siddaramaiah to do the needful. KPCC must instill confidence in Siddaramaiah by offering moral support," Poojary said, adding that the party will suffer a major setback if people's demands for CBI inquiry are ignored.
He de manded that the government set up a corpus fund by sanctioning Rs 1 crore for Ravi's parents. "If the government sets up a corpus fund for Ravi's parents, I will contribute Rs 5,000 each every m onth from my pension to the fund. Ravi's parents have a financial burden of Rs 8 lakh," he added.
