Campaigning comes to a close

The high voltage election campaign for the Legislative Council polls to the Khammam-Nalgonda-Warangal Graduates constituency came to a close on Friday with parties wrapping up their electioneering with huge rallies to garner support for their candidates.

As many as 84,285 voters of the Graduates constituency will exercise their franchise at 123 polling stations in the district on March 22. The Left parties spearheaded a joint campaign on the concluding day of electioneering in the district on Friday. Ministers T. Harish Rao and T. Nageshwara Rao campaigned to seek support for the TRS candidate. TDP MLA S. Venkata Veeraiah canvassed to garner support for the BJP candidate who is backed by the TDP. Leaders of the Congress party’s frontal organisations organised rallies and meetings at various places in the district in support of the Congress contestant.

Help desk

A help desk has been set up at the Revenue Divisional Office at Kothagudem town to assist voters. Voters of Kothagudem division, consisting of 11 mandals, can obtain information related to the Council elections by calling 08744-249994. Similar help desks will be operated in all mandal revenue offices and revenue divisional offices besides the Collectorate, on the day of election.
