Once again the Monster Festival Raffle has 20 fabulous prizes to be won and the first ticket selling day will be next Thursday, March 26 in the Main Street, Grenfell.
Coordinators of the Festival Raffle, John Niven and Bill Rudd are extremely grateful to businesses and other people who have generously donated the fabulous prizes.
Bunnings of Forbes have donated two wonderful prizes. They are Prize 1- a Jumbuck 4 Burner Hooded Barbeque and for Prize 2- $100 Gift Voucher.
Prize 3 is a Half Dressed Lamb donated by Aston and Joyce and dressed by Lyle Walker at Grenfell Quality Meats.
Prize 4 is a $50 Fuel Voucher donated by Steve O’Byrne and Family at Grenfell Caltex, and Prize 5 is Five Auto Carwashes donated by Enhance Service Station at Grenfell.
Prize 6 is a $50 Basket of Goods donated by The Grenfell Pharmacy and Prize 7 is a $50 Voucher- Mechanical Workshop Service donated by Paul Best of Best Automotive Service.
Mrs Carol Logan of Fettlers Restaurant at the Railway Hotel has once again donated Dinner for 2 to the Value of $50 for Prize 8 while the Albion Hotel Restaurant has also once again donated Dinner for 2 to the Value of $50 for prize 9.
Mr John Niven of Weddin Border Leicester Stud has again generously donated Prizes 10 to 20- Lamb Meat Trays - Export Quality. These fabulous meat trays will be generously prepared by Mr Lyle Walker of Grenfell Quality Meats.
Along with The Henry Lawson Festival of Arts Committee, the Coordinators extend a BIG THANKYOU to the above donors of prizes for the Monster Festival Raffle, it is all very much appreciated.
Tickets in this year’s Festival Raffle are $2 each or 3 for $5.
The more tickets you purchase in the raffle the more chance you have of winning a prize or even prizes. You just have to be in it to win it.
Besides raising funds for the Festival by way of the Monster Raffle, three Street Stall dates have been allocated for days leading up to the Festival Weekend. The First dates for the Street Stalls are Friday, May 29 and Saturday, May 30 and again on Friday, June 5.
It is hoped to once again have Margaret’s fantastic plain and date scones for sale at the stalls also Chris’s famous delicious lamingtons.
Cooking, plants and other saleable goods for the street stalls will be most appreciated. If anyone can make themselves available to help man the stalls, can phone Bill on 6343 1270 or John on 63824252.
