IIT Kharagpur recruitment 2015

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has invited applications for recruitment to 2 posts of Senior Research Fellow (SRF). The recruitment is for an exploratory investigation on the effect of uncertainties in in-service inspection on safety and life prediction. Educational qualification:
Candidates must have advanced degree (Master's or Doctoral) in Civil/ Mechanical/Aero/Metallurgical Engineering or in Physics/ Chemistry/ Materials Sc. Outstanding candidates with B.E. will also be considered. Excellent knowledge in Mechanics and Molecular Dynamics, along with expertise in Materials Science/ Composite Materials is required. Excellent computer programming skills (Fortran/C/Matlab) is essential. Familiarity with AFM/TEM/SEM etc. tests and a good publishing record will be given preference.
