Sudhanshu Pandey replaces Karanvir Sharma in Siyaasat

Sudhanshu Pandey, who has done films like Singh Is Kinng, Singham and Murder 2 and TV series like Jhansi Ki Rani, Yeh Meri life Hai and Kanyadaan, has been signed on to play Prince Salim in the show Siyaasat on Epic channel.
He replaces Karanvir Sharma and his first episode for this show will air on March 26.

Excited to be a part of the historical series, the actor says, "I'm thrilled to play a character that is based on one of the most fascinating emperors who ruled India.While we are all aware of the historical figures in terms of what we have studied in textbooks in school and college, it's great that EPIC Channel is bringing these historical characters to life through its interpretation and expression of history. As Salim rises to the challenge of the throne, we get to see a calmer, wiser, and smarter avatar of Salim. I am certain that the audience will continue to be as mesmerized by Siyaasat as I am."
The show sees Salim, as Akbar's eldest son, being handed the task of fortifying Mughal relations with the Rajputana. Apart from his struggle for the throne, he also simultaneously has several women vying for his love and attention.

Amongst them were his first two wives, Man Bai and Jagat Gosini. As Salim's journey takes him through the course of royal politics, he meets and falls in love with Mehrunissa, who eventually becomes his 20th and final wife, who was later known as Empress Nur Jahan.
