Anita Dongre unveils SS15 Summer of Linen line for men

Indian fashion designer Anita Dongre has unveiled a linen heavy Spring/Summer 2015 collection, which includes both formal and off-duty looks for men.
Made using the finest quality linen 60 li, the ultra-comfy range is enhanced with a fusion of modern fashionable elements and classic couture details created in a canvas of colours and textures.
Ideal to be worn to a brunch, a stroll on the deck or an afternoon at the derby, the Summer of Linen line features effortless versatile collarless shirts for men who are too raw to be blue collar workers and too good to be white collar.
It also includes vintage postcard printed trousers and T-shirts, kurtas, salwars, bundis and an array of perfectly crafted jackets in dusty or weathered tones of orange light copper, storm blue and saffron.
A press release from the Mumbai-based designer describes the collection as- “It smoothly transforms and confidently empowers men of today to be natural leaders without mirroring their western counterparts.” (PB)
