Kickstarting the proceedings was Chopra's session. Titled 'The Future of Wellness: Mind, body, technology', it saw a full house. He started by recounting his journey and touching upon his early experiences as an American immigrant; this was followed by a detailed talk on genetics and matter, consciousness and spirituality, and everything in between.

Much to the delight of the crowd, he even had a brief meditation session after the question and answer segment. The second half of the day saw SVYASA's vice-chancellor, H.R. Nagendra, enlighten the audience with his insights into the world of yoga. He began his 'Power of Discipline' session by delving into the history of yoga, after which he dwelt on its benefits and how one can practice it and make it a way of life.

In keeping with the mood of the day, guests were seen enjoying a spread of healthy breakfast, followed by another selection of healthy items for lunch. The day ended with a high-tea session. Presented in association with Johnson Tiles, the India Today Body Rocks event was attended by the creme de la creme of Mumbai, including Rajashree Birla accompanied by daughter Vasavadatta Bajaj, Poonam Dhillon, Sangita Sinh Kathiwada, Ashiesh Shah, Maria Goretti, Sharon Prabhakar, Aarti and Kailash Surendranath, Divya Palat and Aditya Hitkari, Ashmit Patel, Aditi Govitrikar, Fahad Samar and Simone Singh, Pria Kataria Puri, Queenie Singh, Nikhila Palat and Vivan Bathena, Anil Dharker and Paulomi Dhawan, among several others.
