FUKUOKA -- Platz, a nursing care bed maker, will debut on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's Mothers market March 26.
Platz sells its beds via seven sales units across Japan. About 70% of the beds are sold to rental companies. One of Platz's strong suits is holding down costs, which it partly achieves by producing most of its beds in Vietnam, where labor costs are low.
