A man opened fire at his neighbour on Thursday at the Sohna tehsil office, but missed as the latter's mother pushed the gun away at the last moment.The accused has been taken into custody and is being interrogated.

GURGAON: A man opened fire at his neighbour on Thursday at the Sohna tehsil office, but missed as the latter's mother pushed the gun away at the last moment. The accused has been taken into custody and is being interrogated.
According to police, Ashok, a resident of Khedla village and his neighbour Brahm had struck a land deal and had come to the tehsil office for the transfer of ownership.
Ashok paid Rs 10 lakh before the registry, but a dispute ensued when Brahm asked for the rest of the money. Ashok put a gun to Brahm's forehead but before he pulled the trigger, Brahm's mother moved Ashok's hand and the shot was fired in the air. The accused tried to flee with Rs 10 lakh but was caught by cops. His weapon was also been recovered.
"We are questioning Ashok after taken him in police custody. A case will be registered as per the statement," said inspector Sunil Kumar, SHO, Sohna police station.
