Carmen Electra Bails On Recently Purchased Hollywood Hills Villa

This article is more than 9 years old.

Carmen Electra wasn’t feeling any electricity with her relatively new Hollywood Hills villa.

The former Singled Out host and Baywatch star is selling her three-bed, five-bath Mediterranean home after owning it for less than a year, which coincidentally is about the same amount of time she was married to basketball’s favorite hot mess, Dennis Rodman. (Not counting his requested annulment nine days after they said “I do.”)

Located in the coveted Nichols Canyon area, where stars like tennis ace Venus Williams and funnyman Vince Vaughn have also owned homes, the 5,255-square-foot gated villa features a courtyard that leads into a turret-style entry.

Soaring, exposed-beam ceilings provide an extra dose of Hollywood sunshine, as do the spectacular canyon views. Spanish-style tile and an outdoor oasis with an oval-shaped pool round out the laid-back California vibe.

A few nods to her bad-girl past include a painting of her infamous 1999 mugshot, which is shown in the listing photos hanging prominently in the kitchen. There’s also a screening room, where Carmen no doubt would catch showings of her not-so-Oscar-nominated roles in parody flicks like Scary Movie 4 and Meet the Spartans.

No word why Carmen decided to put the house on the market, but we do know she’s been spending time on the East Coast lately. This past Halloween Carmen was partying down in Florida, where she co-hosted a “Fright Night” party in Boca Raton. Bet nobody anticipated that her ex-husband Dennis Rodman would show up at the door expecting to party.

Turns out that Dennis made a beeline for Carmen and professed his love for her. Let’s just say the feeling wasn’t mutual.

Electra previously sold her 2,506-square-foot Beverly Hills home in April of 2014 for a $2.4 million profit. She bought that three-bed, four-bath home in 2002 for $1.35 million, and sold it for $3.75 million.

Safe to say her real estate acumen might be better than her acting skills?
