Pooja Banerjee: I am not here to show skin

After featuring in shows like Ek Doosre Se Karte Pyaar Hum and Hatim, actress Pooja Banerjee is now playing the lead in the TV show Swim Team. A national level swimmer in real life, she will also play an aspiring swimmer on the show.
Pooja says, “Swimming has been my passion since an early age. I had a detailed discussion with the creative team over the kind of swimsuit I will be wearing because I am not here for skin show.What’s important is that I look like a sportsperson and I conveyed that to them.”

The actress also gave valuable inputs for the show, pertaining to the sport, said, “Only a swimmer will know the names of the strokes.” She adds, “From a bahu to a warrior and now an aspiring swimmer, I feel blessed to play such a variety of roles.”
