Isha Mishra is ‘Jazzing’ it up in her debut TV show

Ishra Mishra, who debuts on TV with Rajan Shahi’s Tere Shehar Mein, considers herself lucky to be sharing the screen with some known names like Gautami Gadgil and Sachal Tyagi.
“Not everyone gets to work with such senior actors in their very first show. I feel blessed,” says the teenager, who plays Jazz in the show. About her character, she explains, “Jazz is a studious tomboy, who is not worried about how she looks or what she wears.She only shops for books and knows about everything. In the show, I wear specs and sport a fringe.”

Interestingly, Isha is Jazz’s exact opposite in real life. “I hate reading, but have started doing it now. I want to get into my character,” she says.

About her co-stars, she gushes, “Anjum (Fakih) and Heeba (Nawab) call me ‘gundi’. We do a lot of masti and have loads of fun. We play sisters on screen and share the same equation in real life, too.”
Though just one show old, Isha is very clear about her career plans. “I am hungry to prove myself as a versatile actor and will grab any role that has potential. But yes, I am slightly partial towards positive roles,” she states.
