Roberto Cavalli names creative director

Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli has appointed former Emilio Pucci creative director Peter Dundas to the same role, effective immediately.

The Norwegian, who was chief designer at Cavalli between 2002 and 2005, has previously held roles at Christian Lacroix, Jean Paul Gaultier and Emanuel Ungaro.

Dundas presented his final collection for Emilio Pucci earlier this month at Milan Fashion Week and will show his first collection for Cavalli in September.
