Suriya to debut in Tollywood with a sci-fi film

The decks are cleared for Tamil Superstar Suriya���s much awaited Telugu cinema debut. Manam director Vikram Kumar will be directing the film tentatively titled 24. Vikram confirmed the news saying, ���It is a sci-fi thriller laced with elements of action and romance. The film is based on a universal storyline that will appeal to both Tamil and Telugu audiences equally.Suriya felt it would be the ideal vehicle to debut in Telugu.���
The pre-production work of the film is in the final stages, informs Vikram, saying, ���The script work is almost done and we are are drawing the shooting schedules. We will begin shooting from April.���
Samantha is playing the female lead in the movie and this will be the second time she is paired opposite Suriya. ���We are presently on the lookout for a second heroine. It is a prominent role and we will finalise an actress soon,��� adds Vikram. Suriya enjoys a sizeable following among Telugu audiences and the actor seems intent on expanding his base that much more.
