BJP leader's brother arrested for molesting Class XI student

INDORE: Ajay Vyas alias Ajju, the 40-year-old brother of a local BJP leader was arrested by the AJK police here on Wednesday night for allegedly molesting a 17-year-old Class XI student.
While the accused is the brother of local BJP leader Ghanshyam Vyas, the teenaged girl is the daughter of a property broker.
The girl's family had lodged a case of molestation at Sanyogitagnaj police station against Ajju, a resident of Parsi Mohalla on February 25.With the girl being from scheduled caste, the Sanyogitaganj police had later transferred the investigations to the AJK police station.
According to AJK Indore police station staff, the accused Ajju, who has been allegedly troubling the girl since a year, harassed her on Wednesday also, while she was returning from school. When the girl's mother raised the matter with Ajju, he threatened her with dire consequences, which was reported to AJK police later.
Acting in the matter, the police arrested Ajju in the night and also booked him under the SC/ST Act.
