Training held

The load men affiliated to the CITU Tamil Nadu Loadmen Union underwent a training on workers rights and Acts at the CITU office here recently.

S. K. Thiagarajan, State vice-president of the CITU, inaugurated the camp in the presence of Govindan, district secretary of the CITU Loadmen Union.

S. Gunasekaran, State president of the Loadmen Union, R. Vankatapathi, general secretary, handled the sessions on workers rights and workers Acts.

A large number of load men and the office-bearers of the union from the districts of Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri and Erode participated in the training programme.
