JOIN USNational award-winning filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj, who has helmed offbeat films like Omkara, Kaminey and Haider, considers his films as his style statement which
teleports cinema lovers to a whole new arena of the film with ease.
The 49-year-old multi-talented filmmaker who was in the city recently mentioned that he uses camera lens to see the world as, according to him, style means having
an open mind without any prejudice.
“My films are my style statement. If people watch any of my films or hear a dialogue in it, they can easily make out what the entire movie is about,” Bhardwaj told IANS.
“The characters I create are so different and unique from others and that depicts my strength in the film arena,” he added.
Bhardwaj has garnered plaudits for Haider, which was also felicitated at the Rome Film Festival with the People's Choice Award. Apart from that he has also directed and composed music for films like Makdee, Omkara, Kaminey and 7 Khoon Maaf.
Talking about his association as a style speaker for Blenders Pride Reserve Collection, Bhardwaj said: “My association has just started with it and I'm hoping that it will be a beautiful one. As it’s all about style and I think, I have a different and unique style of my own.”
Apart from Bhardwaj, the brand will also feature actors Parambrata Chattopadhyay and Rahul Bose.
