Fashion meets music at City Centre Mirdif as fellow Lebanese pop stars Myriam Fares and Yara prepare to perform for crowds.
A series of catwalk shows from a multitude of designer labels will preclude Fares’ appearance on March 21 at 6pm as the mall celebrates new season collections.
The 31-year-old singer is one of the region’s most popular entertainers, enjoying success beyond music with stints in film as well as choreographing elaborate stage performances showcasing traditional folk music and costumes from across the Middle East and India.
City Centre Deira will also be hosting singer Yara as a special celebrity guest for their upcoming Star Style Search taking place from March 26 to 28.
Before performing on the contest’s closing day, she will help choose a winner among the top 20 finalists who will be pampered with prizes that include a shopping spree and professional photo shoot.
Yara melted fans’ hearts this week with the release of her latest song Ya Awal Wladi (To My First Child), an emotional ode to her infant son ahead of Mother’s Day.
