Probe into DK Ravi's suicide: Sandalwood

On learning the death of honest IAS officer DK Ravi, Sandalwood is not only shaken but also angered. The Kannada film industry is shocked to know that an honest officer like Ravi would have taken the extreme step. Unwilling to believe the reason for his death to be just suicide, Sandalwood demands probe into DK Ravi's death.
While actress Malavika Avinash said, "Friends, A whole district including several villages shutting down suo Moto with no organisation/party calling for a Bandh to mourn, to protest the death of an officer is unprecedented, really sets you thinking...about how rare a quality HONESTY has become, how an officer can touch thousands of lives in such a short span...across the State & how we're so tired of corruption...!sad that the ruling disposition didn't heed to the public outcry when he was transferred & mutely witnessed the stifling of an officer...The CM & the commissioner continue to be insensitive...the cornered Home Minister brazenly calls it a suicide for domestic reasons(was he privy to the status of their relationship by any chance?!) on the floor of the house! ???And for all those that are as disturbed as I am, let's stick together & hold on to our basic mantra taught in primary school..."Honesty is the Best Policy"!we shall not be cowed down...And Honesty will get the justice it deserves!" on her facebook page, theatre personality Prakash Belawadi said, "It's incredible and inspiring that this young IAS officer touched so many lives with such intensity.Surely, the least the IAS & IPS cadres could do is push for a prompt and professional inquiry into his tragic death. After all, he's one of their own, a rare one too - honest and committed."
Singer MD Pallavi posted, "Unimaginable. The number of lives DK Ravi touched in his short life. He had big plans. Personal and professional. Can't believe he would have wanted to end his life," and Aindrita Ray tweeted, "My heart goes out to the family of DK Ravi RIP justice needs to b served!Sad state of affair#FailingTheHonest #Ban #Corruption." Actor Darshan also expressed his shock. "It was shocking to hear the news of Eminent IAS Official DK Ravi's death. My heartfelt deepest Condolences to his family.Big loss for India," he tweeted.
Meanwhile, Arvind Kejriwal also tweeted, "IAS officer D K Ravi , who took on Mafia, found dead. Heart felt condolences 2 his family. Let's pledge 2 continue his fight agnst corrption."
