Three persons surrender in murder case

Three persons surrendered before a court here in connection with the murder of a hotel owner in Nanguneri in Tirunelveli district on Tuesday.

S. Manikandan (28), J. Daniel (19) and P. Jayaprakash (19) of Nanguneri surrendered before Jenita, Judicial Magistrate III.

The Magistrate remanded them in judicial custody.

Sent to jail

They were taken to the Palayamkottai prison.

Kombaiah (55), an eatery owner in Panankulam near Moontradaippu on Tirunelveli-Nagercoil National Highway, was murdered by a four-member gang on Sunday night.
