Kranti turns lyricist for Alvida

Actress Kranti Redkar who is venturing into direction with the upcoming Kaakan, has also penned down the lyrics for two songs in the film.
Apparently, Kranti has turned lyricist for song ���Suki poli��� and has also co-written the lines for ���Alvida��� along with lyricist Omkar Dutt. Telling the story behind how she ended up writing the lyrics for���Alvida���, Kranti says, ���We were sitting in the recording studio and were chasing a deadline to complete this particular song.Unfoutunatelt, that time, we didn���t have full lyrics for it and I was constantly discussing the lines for the song with our lyricist Omkar Dutt. He narrated first two lines of the song and had to rush for some important meeting suddenly. We left with no option but to complete the song. Then suddenly a few lines popped up in my head and I discussed them with my musician. Everybody liked them so much that we decided to use them and complete the song.���
Kaakan stars Jitendra Joshi and Urmila Kanitkar-Kothare in the lead roles.
