Rome - Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo remains sidelined for the return game the Italian champions are to play on Wednesday at Borussia Dortmund in the last 16 of the Champions League, the Turin club said Monday.

Medical tests showed good progress, but "Wednesday's game will come too soon for the midfielder," the club said on its website.
