Congress cadres protest damage to Kamaraj statue in Srivaikundam

Members of the Congress staged a protest in front of the Collectorate here against the damage caused at a Kamaraj statue in Srivaikundam in Tuticorin district on Monday. They raised slogans against the anti-social elements who damaged the statue after a murder that took place in Srivaikundam. The protest was organised by the District Congress Committee and the Tamil Nadu Kamarajar Narpani Manram.

R. Radhakrishnan, State president, Tamil Nadu Kamarajar Narpani Mandram, presided.

The protest was inaugurated by J.G. Prince, MLA, Colachel constituency.
