Mukesh Malkan is new Sangh Chalak of RSS Gujarat, Shakha numbers up

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS) Gujarat Prant today in a media interaction shared the details of Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha recently concluded in Nagpur.

As per the decisions taken in Pratinidhi Sabha, Dr. Jayantibhai Bhadesia who was Sanghchalak of Gujarat Prant has been elevated as Western region Sanghchalak which includes Gujarat.

Shri Mukeshbhai Malkan who was Sah Sanghchalak of Gujarat Prant has replaced Dr. Bhadesia to become Sanghchalak of Gujarat Prant.

Shri Shaileshbhai Patel has been appointed Sah Karyavah replacing Shri Mukeshbhai Malkan. Shri Shaileshbhai was Prant Bauddhdhik Pramukh earlier.

As per the figures declared in this briefing. RSS work has expanded in Gujarat from 543 places in 2012 to 712 places this year. Number of shakha has increased from 1039 in 2012 to 1372 in 2015. Weekly gatherings have increased from 315 in 2012 to 865 this year. Increase in Sangh Mandal has been from 156 in 2012 to 756 in 2015.

Among those who were paid tribute during Pratinidhi Sabha in Nagpur were Upendra Trivedi, Mrunalinidevi Puvar, Narayanrao Bhandari and Jitubhai Sanghvi from Gujarat.

On all India level, RSS Shakhas have increased by 10,413 since 2012. Sangh works are now on 33,222 places with 51,330 Shakha, 12847 weekly gatherings and 9008 Sangh Mandlis. Of these 6077 Shakhas are for teen age students.
