S*uce, a multi-brand fashion store in Dubai, has been nominated in the prestigious WGSN Global Fashion Awards, which will be held in May in London on May 14.
The awards celebrate and reward what’s new and next in fashion from breakthrough design talent to innovation in design, buying, retail and e-tail. The winners will be judged by a panel of international experts with entries from over 50 countries.
“We are absolutely thrilled that a homegrown, Dubai-based concept store has been shortlisted in the same category with iconic global fashion players Colette [France] and Matchesfashion.com [UK]. Achievements such as this allow the world to see what first class talent we have in the UAE. There is a tremendous amount of creativity and positive energy in the region’s industry and we are here to help support and mentor these designers and companies so they may realise their potential and achieve their dreams. We wish them the best of luck for the announcement in May,” said Nez Gebreel, CEO of the Dubai Design and Fashion Council, in a statement.
